This is an intensive one day course designed for pediatricians who would like more experience with pediatric emergency scenarios. This course is geared specifically for the pediatrician working in an urgent care setting or emergency department and also for the pediatric hospitalist who may be called upon to respond to an emergency. We will provide hands on training in critical pediatric emergency skills. This will include pediatric specific airway management and resuscitation procedures. Using high fidelity simulation, this course will also focus on the crisis resource management skills needed to successfully manage a critically ill pediatric patient.
