Unanticipated Decannulation | Emergency Response 2025 (2)
This one-hour live course empowers pediatric nurses to respond confidently to unanticipated tracheostomy decannulation emergencies in children. Through realistic simulation, team-based communication practice, and review of pediatric-specific protocols, participants will enhance their ability to assess, intervene, and support resuscitation efforts when needed. The session highlights the nurse’s role in interdisciplinary response and reinforces critical airway safety practices in pediatric care settings.

- discuss tracheostomy emergency protocols for accidental decannulation and resuscitation measures
