"From Triggers to Treatment: School-Based Care for Asthma and Allergies" is a one-hour session designed to equip school nurses with up-to-date knowledge and practical strategies for supporting students with asthma and allergic conditions. Led by a pediatric clinician with expertise in school-based care, this session connects clinical best practices with everyday school scenarios. Participants will gain tools to identify triggers, respond to symptoms, and collaborate effectively in managing student health needs.

Target Audience

Nurses, Academic Professionals and others working with children in community settings as well as those interested in the session topics

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the latest evidence-based research and advancements in pediatric Asthma health, applying the most current knowledge and practices in their care for students.
  • Identify key pediatric Asthma health issues and best practices, addressing the unique needs and challenges faced by school nurses.
  • Apply health measures, empowering them to proactively address pediatric Asthma conditions within the school setting.
