Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- understand what defines an outbreak of a highly transmissible vaccine-preventable infectious disease and how to respond.
- provide the most up to date guidance to prevent, diagnose, and treat potential cases of measles and outbreaks.
- explain how a potential case needs to be managed in the PCP setting, school, community setting, and with the health department.
