Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:

  • Describe adolescents who are highest risk for ovarian cysts.
  • Identify ovarian cysts that need immediate surgical consultation versus those needing medical management.
  • Utilize the rule of three to appropriately determine whether to observe, refer for medical management or refer for surgical management.
