Epic POWER Hours are designed to help providers discover ways to save time, decrease clicks, and reduce cognitive load while using the Epic EHR to provide patient care. This session focuses on strategies for In Basket management.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Examine opportunities to modify Epic's system configurations and workflows to improve efficiency when providing patient care.
  • Describe how personalization features such as QuickActions can improve efficiency in the EHR.
  • Summarize available Nemours-led and Epic-led resources to improve individual proficiency with the EHR.
