Dr. Scott Lang speaks about pain management postoperatively and the pharmacologic strategies to do so. Dr. Lang wants learners to consider pain management in the complex patient not only as a postoperative phenomenenon, but as a preoperative and intraoperative process, as well. Scott Lang, MD is a Pediatric Anesthesiologist, the Medical Director of the Pain Service, and the Director of the Liver and Kidney Transplant Anesthesia at Nemours Children's Hospital, DE. He is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at The Sidney Kimmel Medical, at Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
