
Nemours Cerebral Palsy Conference for Pediatric Therapists 2025
This one-day, in-person continuing education conference will focus on the neuro-orthopedic care of children with cerebral palsy (CP). It will describe up-to-date clinical practices and supporting evidence for diagnostic and medical care, surgical practice, rehabilitation strategies, and updates on lifespan issues. The day includes an interactive session with the Nemours CP Team centered on physician and therapist collaboration.
Target Audience
Pediatric Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Improve their understanding of the medical, surgical, and therapy continuum of care of a child with CP and CP-like conditions.
2. Improve their understanding of the surgical, medical and therapy care for a child with CP who undergo foot reconstruction surgery
3. Discuss the developmental trajectory and therapy strategies for young children across various motor and functional classification continuum

From Rockland Road, enter the Nemours Children’s Hospital Campus at the “D Gate” entrance across from the Ronal McDonald House
Park in the Employee (Associate) garage
Exit the garage at the first-floor elevators and walk through the covered walkway to the employee entrance
Take this hallway to elevators 1 & 2 and go to the third floor
At the third floor (from elevators 1 & 2) exit to the left and take the second left, use this hallway to arrive at the lecture hall
