Navigating Through the Storm of Syphilis: Practical Clinical Management of Congenital Syphilis
There has been a rise in the number of syphilis infections in the United States recently including cases of congenital syphilis. Despite there being an AAP Red Book algorithm for the evaluation of infants born to mothers with positive syphilis testing, the real world management of these infants can be convoluted and confusing. This webinar aims to help providers navigate the diagnosis and treatment of congenital syphilis with up-to-date best practices.
It will include a Q&A session for providers to ask questions on specific cases and scenarios. Providers can summit questions beforehand or live in real-time to either Dr. Rellosa | neil.rellosa@nemours.org or Dr. Gupta | ashish.gupta@nemours.org
Target Audience
Physicians, APRNs, PAs, Nurses and all primary health care providers.
