Embark on a transformative learning journey with our interprofessional hospital team simulation, dedicated to fostering effective teamwork and communication. We invite all hospital team members to participate and explore the intricacies of collaborative healthcare. Through realistic scenarios, this simulation delves into defining roles and responsibilities within the team dynamic, ensuring a comprehensive understanding    of each member's crucial contribution. Join us for an immersive experience that not only hones your teamwork skills but also enhances communication strategies vital for seamless patient care. Attend sessions in the Simulation Lab quarterly on the first Friday of February, May (moved to 4/26), August & December.

Target Audience

This series is recommended for RN, MD, DO, PCT, RRT, CCL, EMT-P, Social Work, Child Life, and Pharm-D.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • demonstrate effective communication skills (ie. closed-loop communication, shared mental model, SBAR).
  • identify clear roles and responsibilities.
  • define roles of other interprofessional team members
