This one-hour presentation, provided in collaboration with the local chapter of APHON, provides current information on fertility preservation options for children with cancer.
Target Audience
Nurses and other clinicians involved in fertility preservation services for children with cancer.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
Objective #1: Explain the currently available fertility preservation options.
Objective #2: Demonstrate increased knowledge and confidence in helping to provide education to patients and families regarding fertility preservation.
Objective #3: Explain safe sex practices for patients receiving chemotherapy.
