This 4-hour didactic/simulation is designed to provide advanced nursing education for the care of a ECMO patient, cardiac emergencies and PALS scenarios.

Target Audience

CCCU Nursing, Staffing Resource Pool Nursing

Learning Objectives

1. Discuss nursing care of the ECMO patient.

2. Demonstrate the use of SOLO ECMO cart and bedside procedural readiness.

3. Demonstrate roles and adherence to PALS algorithm in simulation exercises.
