Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
- Review the background of pharmacogenomics, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics.
- Discuss the role of pharmacogenomics in pediatric oncology.
- Identify gene–drug interactions that influence chemotherapy and supportive care dosing and optimization.
- The interprofessional team will collaboratively identify, analyze, and prioritize key barriers and challenges to the implementation of pharmacogenomics in clinical practice.
