Simulation-based learning affords the opportunity for participants to refine clinical practice skills in a safe, supportive learning environment.
Target Audience
Critical Care Transport Team Clinicians (Nurses, Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists and EMT's).
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
Objective #1: Review clinical pathway for calculating shock score and discuss best practices for early recognition, management, and documentation of septic shock.
Objective #2: Review handout for preparing diluted Epinephrine (10 mcg/mL) and discuss addition to the medication bag with prefilled syringes in future.
Objective #3: Review handout and discuss best practices for recognition, assessment, management, and documentation of an infiltrated line from an outside hospital.
