Autism: Understanding the Symptoms and How to Support Children Across the Spectrum
Join us for a virtual training that will explore the core characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), highlight effective screening tools for early identification, and introduce brief, practical interventions that primary care providers can implement in their offices to better support children with ASD.
This training will be hosted virtually only via Microsoft Teams. The meeting link will be emailed to registered attendees.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
- Describe the interconnection between language and social skill development.
- Demonstrate strategies that primary care providers can share with families to support communication and emotion development in the home.
- Apply simple tools and resources to help families create supportive environments for self-regulation and expressive language development.
