2025 Mock Code Blue Program - September
Communication failure continues to be one of the leading causes for medical error in the United States. These errors can result in harm to patients who need life-saving, resuscitative care during cardiac or respiratory arrest. Providing code blue simulation education opportunities to members of the code blue team (physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, etc.) allows for practice of closed loop communication, identification of roles and responsibilities, and identification of a team leader.

Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
- Clear identification and announcement of code blue team leader
- Use of closed-loop communication
- Clear identification and announcement of roles and responsibilities of code blue team members
