Cherie L. Crumpler, MSN, RN, CNOR, began her nursing career with adult surgical patients and transitioned to pediatrics eight years ago, at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware. When first arriving to Nemours, Cherie was the Ortho & Neuro Service Coordinator and in 2019 she joined the Nursing Professional Team as the Clinical Nurse Educator for Perioperative Services. In her role as Clinical Nurse Educator, she covers all three surgical sites (NCH-D main hospital and two Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Deptford, NJ & Malvern, PA) and she developed the Perioperative Nurse Residency Program utilizing AORN's Periop 101 course. Cherie also serves as an adjunct faculty member of the College of Health Professions and Natural Sciences at Wilmington University.
