Pasquale Casale, MD, MHA
Pasquale Casale, MD, MHA is a Pediatric Urologist who specializes in robotic assisted pediatric laparoscopic surgery. In addition to caring for children, Dr. Casale has published and lectured extensively in all aspects of pediatric urology and has been invited as visiting professor to several urology training programs both national and international. He completed his urology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and his pediatric urology fellowship at Seattle Children's Hospital and Medical Center. In 2004, he joined the Department of Pediatric Urology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as Assistant Professor of Surgery (Urology) and was promoted to Associate Professor of Urology in 2011. At CHOP, he introduced the approach of minimally invasive pediatric urological surgery, including endourology and laparoscopy, and was named the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery and Robotic Surgery. He is recognized as one of the original national and international leaders and pioneers in the field of Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Surgery. In 2012, he became Professor and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Urology at Columbia University Medical Center. During his tenure at Columbia, he was the Director of Robotic Surgery at the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital/ New York Presbyterian Medical Center, and obtained his Masters in Healthcare Administration at The Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. More recently, Dr. Casale practiced at AdventHealth Disney Children's Hospital in Orlando before joining his alma mater here at Nemours and The Sidney Kimmel School of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson.
