Ellen Fraint, MD
Dr Ellen Fraint received her MD from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She then completed her Pediatrics residency at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington DE, and her Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in The Bronx. She then completed a Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital in Manhattan. After finishing her training and practicing for a few years in New York, Dr Fraint has recently joined the faculty at the Lisa Dean Moseley Foundation Institute for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, DE. She is thrilled to bring her passion for caring for children with blood and immune system disorders to her new position, as well as her interest in researching more effective and less toxic approaches to caring for children undergoing stem cell transplantation.
