Matt Mason, PharmD, BCIDP
Matt Mason, PharmD, is an infectious diseases pharmacist and the co-director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware since November 2022. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson University – Jefferson College of Pharmacy and completed a PGY-1 in pharmacy practice at Christiana Care and a PGY-2 in infectious diseases at Houston Methodist Hospital. He previously was an infectious diseases pharmacist at the University of Kansas Hospital since 2018. He is a member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. His research includes infections in immunocompromised hosts, clinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, and antifungal and antiviral pharmacology. His clinical areas of interest include vaccines, gram-negative resistance mechanisms, and antimicrobial stewardship.
