Online: Urinary Tract Infections in Children

T. Ernesto Figueroa, MD is the Chief of the Division of Urology at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware and a Professor of Urology and Pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. In this lecture, he discusses the risk factors for urinary tract infections in children and the procedures for evaluation of children with suspected urinary tract infections. This program was captured at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware Lunchtime Pediatrics on February 9, 2023.

  • Discuss the most common infectious diseases causing fever and rash in pediatric patients.
  • Describe distinctive features of rashes in pediatric patients to aid in the correct diagnosis.
