Julie Ginsberg, DNP, CRNP, CPNP-PC, NEA-BC, CPPS
Dr. Julie Ginsberg started her career over 25 years ago at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) as an outpatient clinical nurse. She continued to develop her ambulatory clinical pediatric expertise in the roles of nurse practitioner in the Departments of Allergy and Primary Care. From there she transitioned into the role of an Ambulatory Nursing Practice Specialist and as an Evidence-Based Practice Specialist for the Center for Pediatric Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice. Most recently she joined the Quality and Safety team at Nemours Children’s Health in Delaware as the Director of Patient Safety.
Julie holds a BA from Tufts University and a BSN and MSN in Primary Care Pediatrics from the University of Pennsylvania. Julie completed her DNP in Health Systems Executive Leadership at the University of Pittsburgh. Her DNP project was titled: “Behavioral Crisis Management: A Quality Improvement Pilot for Improving Teamwork in a Primary Care Pediatric Setting.” Additional certifications received include: Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care (CPNP-PC); Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified (NEA-BC); Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS).
