Dr. Steinberg is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville. He specializes in pediatric craniofacial trauma and conditions we treat in the cleft and craniofacial center. In addition to caring for children, Dr. Steinberg is an award-winning researcher and professor who trained surgeons at the University of Florida College of Medicine.  
Prior to Nemours Children’s, he served as the medical director of the Pediatric Maxillofacial and Craniofacial Surgery Program at UF Health Jacksonville. Dr. Steinberg received his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry in New York City, and his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio. He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, as well as a surgical residency year at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
