Dr. Lam completed medical school at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She then completed her pediatrics training at the University of Illinois Chicago followed by a child neurology fellowship at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC. She also completed a sleep fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore. She was the medical director of the sleep center at Kennedy Krieger Institute prior to relocating to Nemours in Jacksonville.
