Pinak is a third-year medical student at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She is hoping to specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation or neurology. As the first person in her family to attend medical school, she has learned much about medicine by participating in research projects focusing on developmental hip dysplasia, traumatic brain injury, medical education, and antiepileptic therapy. She hopes to continue pursuing research as a resident and physician, regardless of her chosen field.
