Tariq Rahman, PhD
Dr. Rahman completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 1990 from Drexel University. He then joined the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children as a post-doctoral fellow. Dr. Rahman is currently Principal Research Engineer and Director of the Center for Orthopedics Research and Development (CORD) at NCHDE. He has over 75 publications in the area of rehabilitation/biomedical engineering on issues relating to tremor reduction, robotics, orthotics, orthopedics and pulmonology. He has been funded by NIH, Dept of Education, Cure SMA, and The Swank foundation. He has 10 patents.
