Heather Ammirata is a Clinical Pathways Development Specialist for the Nemours Clinical Pathways Department. She has been with Nemours for over 5 years, previously practicing full-time as a pediatric neurology physician assistant. While in her neurology role, she was a mentor for aspiring physician assistant students and precepted medical students from the University of Central Florida. Heather was also an inaugural Nemours Quality Champions Program participant, which sparked her interest in Quality and Safety. She has been in her current role as a Clinical Pathways Development Specialist since February 2023.
