Kimberly Dawson, MSN, RN, CPEN, TCRN, CHSE, EMT
Kimberly Dawson MSN, RN, CPEN, TCRN, EMT, CHSE, is a Simulation Education Specialist with NICE. She began her medical career by becoming an EMT in 2002. She achieved her BSN from Neumann University in 2007 and joined Nemours Emergency Department in 2008. While in the ED here at Nemours Kim was very active in numerous trauma and leadership roles. In her last two years in the Emergency Department, Kim was the EMS liaison, providing feedback, outreach and education to area EMS agencies and adult facilities in the area. Kim has been with NICE since October 2016. Kim has been involved in planning and implementing simulations throughout the organization. In 2020 Kim obtained her MSN in Nursing Leadership and Education from Wilmington University. Kim is always taking on new projects and challenges and recently became an Error Provention instructor within the organization.
She has shared her passion for simulation, trauma, emergency care and error prevention through numerous lectures and presentations throughout the region. Kim is also an AHA and ENA instructor and teaches BLS, PALS, ACLS, ENPC and TNCC. |
