Judy Adelizzi-DeLany has been an Advanced Practice Nurse for 29 years (9 years Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia/University of Pennsylvania and 20 years at Nemours). After initially coming to Nemours in 2005, she worked as an inpatient hospitalist for the Department of Orthopedics. The unique experience of caring for children with a wide variety of medical issues both surgical and nonsurgical allowed her to care for children and adolescents all over the hospital and provided a unique perspective to caring for complex patients with multiple subspecialist needs. These past few years she has worked with Neurology in the inpatient and now primarily outpatient areas.  Her primary area of interest is general neurology. Diagnosing and treating epilepsy, diagnosing and managing complex migraines as well as other common neurological co-morbidities is an important part of caring for all Neurology patients.  She previously has managed and supervised the Neurology APRN and Specialty RN team for 3 years and recently has taken over as Director of the Nemours Headache Program.
