I earned my Bachelor Degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University.  I have spent the majority of my nursing career at A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children where I worked for 6 years as a Pediatric Rehab Nurse and for the last 13 years, I have been practicing as a General Pediatric APRN Hospitalist.  I also worked for several years as a home care nurse for medically complex children.  Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my 2 boys (10yo & 8yo), husband, & 2 labs; traveling; weight lifting; baking; and cooking.  I am a member of the APP Council and help with the yearly planning of the APRN Pharmacology Conference.  I enjoy precepting nurse practitioner students and giving guest lectures for local APP programs.
