My name is Thomas Knapp. I am originally from San Diego, CA. I completed my undergraduate studies in Biology at Brigham Young University, graduating manga cum laude in 2019. In 2020, I began my medical education at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, where I found my interest in cardiothoracic surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Jennifer Nelson and Dr. William Decampli. In March 2024, I matched at the University of Utah Thoracic Surgery residency program, where I will be starting my postgraduate training in July 2024.
