Amy Sloane, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Attending Neonatologist
I am an Attending Neonatologist at Nemours Children's Health at Thomas Jefferson University and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at /Sidney Kimmel Medical College/Thomas Jefferson University. I completed my BA in Public Health Studies at Johns Hopkins University as well as an MHS in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. I completed medical school at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in NJ, and then completed my residency in General Pediatrics at Nemours/Thomas Jefferson University. Following residency, I worked as a Pediatric and Neonatology Hospitalist for Nemours before my Neonatology fellowship training. Following fellowship, I worked as an Attending Neonatologist for CHOP Newborn Care at Holy Redeemer Hospital, then rejoined Nemours in late 2022. I currently serve as the Associate Program director for the Neonatology/Perinatology fellowship program and am actively involved in clinical Neonatology research with a focus in neonatal sepsis, global health, and neonatal feeding and nutrition.
