I am a certified CT technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. I am also trained in MRI and pediatric interventional radiology. I am a lead technologist at Nemours Children’s Health, director of the 3D/AR/VR Lab, and an avid futurist. My passion for 3D printing and virtual reality has transcended since I started a 3D printing lab six years ago at Nemours Children’s health. There is a new revolution on the horizon with 3D Printing technologies in the healthcare industry. I work closely with surgeons from different specialties and create 3D models from patients’ medical imaging data like CT, MRI, Echocardiogram, and Ultrasound for pre-surgical planning. I also run the virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) lab for the hospital, where I use different applications and implementations in the operating room for surgeons.
