Robert Heinle, MD
Dr. Robert A. Heinle earned his BS in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in mathematics at the University of Southern California. He earned his MD at Temple University Medical School followed by a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Christiana Care Health System and Jefferson University/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia focusing his research on airway clearance in children with neuromuscular diseases. He is the Program Director of the Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship, the Medical Director of the Pulmonary Function Laboratory and Co-Director of the MDA-certified Neuromuscular Clinic for Nemours at the Afred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE. Outside of the hospital, he is a loving husband to Rachel, a practicing gynecologist in the community, and the proud father of 19-year-old Matthew and 17-year-old Bridget whose academics, tennis and travel fill the dull moments.
