Dr. Tagrid Ruiz-Maldonado is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics with the University of Utah and a Child Abuse Pediatrician with the Center for Safe & Healthy Families at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. She completed her General Pediatrics residency at the University of Puerto Rico, University Pediatric Hospital after having received her medical degree from University of Puerto Rico, Medical Science Campus. Dr Ruiz-Maldonado's interests focus on diagnostic research in child abuse pediatrics and aim towards improving the utilization of medical resources in child abuse evaluations.
