I also was a nurse educator specializing in Maternal–Child Health within the associate degree Nursing (ADN) program. With a strong clinical foundation in obstetrics, newborn care, and family-centered nursing, I am committed to preparing the next generation of nurses and advance providers to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence‑based care to mothers, infants, and families. I was a guest speaker for the EMS program in Daytona College Paramedic Course on Neonatal Resuscitation and stabilization. NRP Instructor since 1989. Member of FPQC during NAS statewide initiative. Has volunteered at the local high school and spoke at UCF American Medical Women Association in 2018 regarding the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Role. Continue to work with UCF College of Medicine medical student and resident regarding neonatal care. Also provide impromptu education to student RN in the NICU.
Although I have this many years of experience in NICU, I am still young at heart, learning new things, teaching old things and enjoying every beautiful moment that is given.
"Life is a journey to enjoy, share and cherish."
