Andrea Mejia-Sanchez, MD, is a pediatric gastroenterologist who joined Nemours Children’s Health, Pensacola in August 2022 after finishing a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at Oklahoma University in Oklahoma City. Dr. Mejia-Sanchez earned her bachelor’s degree in Natural Science with a Major in Human Biology at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez, and her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Ponce Health Sciences University School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She performed her residency in general pediatrics at the University of Puerto Rico’s Medicine Science Campus in San Juan. Dr. Mejia-Sanchez is board certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
