Michelle Hudgens, MBA, FACC
Michelle Hudgens is the Vice President of Finance and Business Operations within the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s. With over 11 years of healthcare administration experience, she is responsible for leading all functions related to human resources, patient access, billing and satisfaction, pre and post research grant award process, clinical program assessment and development, operating and capital budgeting and quality improvement as it pertains to the institute's business and financial operations. In collaboration with the Executive Co-Directors of the Heart Institute, Michelle is also instrumental in the establishment and implementation of the Institute's business strategies and long-term plans on a local, regional, national, and international scale. She also often collaborates with key partners within the medical center in addition to external relationships and representing the institute in multiple national forums.
Michelle joined the Heart Institute in 2013 and received her MBA in Healthcare Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is active in the community, currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association in Cincinnati as well as a member of the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati. Michelle is also a member of the American College of Cardiology Cardiovascular Management Section Leadership Council and was recently named a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
