Matt Heilman is the Vice President of Compliance and Chief Privacy Officer at Nemours Children’s Health. As a part of a highly qualified team, he is responsible for preventing, detecting and responding to compliance-related issues in the five states in which Nemours does business (Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Florida). Prior to joining Nemours a decade ago, Matt worked at a law firm in Center City Philadelphia defending health care providers in claims of medical negligence. He is a member of the bar in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and he is certified in both Health Care Compliance and Health Care Privacy Compliance through the HCCA.
