Eric Hall, PhD, MBA, FAMIA
Eric Hall, PhD, MBA, FAMIA is the Chief Research Informatics Officer at Nemours Children’s Health where he oversees all aspects of research information technology and data science within the organization. This includes supervision of the Biomedical Research Informatics Center and aligning its goals with the enterprise vision for data analytics, research, and innovation in clinical care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Hall has focused on leveraging data and technology to enhance the well-being of at-risk populations, with a particular emphasis on integrating and analyzing lifespan health data such as electronic health records, public health records, genomic data, and social determinants of health. His aim is to positively impact pediatric health outcomes and eliminate health disparities at the individual and community levels.
Dr. Hall holds a BS in Computer Engineering and an MS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Utah, and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association (FAMIA) in 2020 and presently holds an appointment as a Research Professor of Pediatrics at Thomas Jefferson University.
