Lori Frasier, MD
Dr. Frasier is a professor of pediatrics and chief of the division of child abuse pediatrics at Penn State Hershey children’s Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and Child Abuse Pediatrics. Dr. Frasier participated in the development of the first certification for pediatricians in Child Abuse Pediatrics through her participation as member of the first subboard and then as chair and immediate past chair of the Subboard of Child Abuse Pediatrics for the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Frasier is the immediate past president/president-elect of the Ray E. Helfer Society and a current board member of the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN). She has taught child abuse topics at many levels from community based to medical school, residency, and continuing medical education for practicing physicians. Dr. Frasier has published many articles and chapters on the topic of child abuse and lectures locally, nationally and internationally.
