Dr. Lindsey Knake is an Assistant Professor and Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer at the University of Iowa. Dr. Knake completed a master’s in biomedical informatics at Vanderbilt. Dr. Knake is board certified in Pediatrics, Neonatology, and Clinical Informatics and is the chair of the Epic Neonatology Steering Board. Dr. Knake is the chair of the EHR Integration subgroup of NeoMIND-AI, which is a new group of neonatologists interested in levering machine learning and AI capabilities to advance neonatal care (https://neomindai.com). Her research interests include creating machine learning based prediction models to predict extubation success in Neonates in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
