Brynne Sullivan, MD, MSc
Brynne Sullivan, MD, MSc, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Neonatology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. In addition to patient care, Brynne spends most of her time on clinical and computational research, focusing on developing and testing predictive analytics using physiologic monitoring data. Her research projects span from cardiorespiratory early warning systems for infection in preterm infants to pulse oximetry data analytics for objective assessment of neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome in term infants.
Dr. Sullivan was born and raised in Richmond, VA. She completed her undergraduate degree at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. She went to medical school at UVA and has lived in Charlottesville ever since, completing her pediatric residency and neonatology fellowship at UVA. Brynne joined the UVA faculty in 2017 and continues to build her career in research that bridges the gap between medical expertise and technological innovation.
