Dr. Colby Day is a Neonatologist at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She completed her pediatric residency and neonatology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She then worked as an Assistant Professor of Neonatology at the University of Florida Jacksonville from 2017-2021 before joining URMC as faculty. Dr. Day’s academic focus is quality improvement and she is involved in initiatives at the local, regional, and national level, including serving as the Associate Editor of QI for NeoReviews. She is an expert consultant for the Vermont Oxford Network and has worked with multiple state quality collaboratives. Dr. Day also has a special interest in the care of extremely premature babies and is part of the leadership team for the Small Baby Program at the University of Rochester. She currently serves as the Medical Director of the Golisano Children's Hospital NICU and also Medical Director of the NICU Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship.
