Sarah Wawrzynski is a pediatric critical care nurse and research scientist in the Center for Healthcare Delivery Science at Nemours Children’s Health, DE. Using a socioecological lens, she focuses on how social support, social determinants, and family functioning influence family members' health outcomes in the context of pediatric illness. She is also interested in how palliative care services optimize outcomes, mitigate distress, and enhance the mental and physical health outcomes of families.
