Wendy Jo Sturtz, M.D., is a board-certified neonatologist with ChristianaCare and assistant professor of pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College. She also is board-certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and is the medical director of the Infant Maternal Pediatric Advanced Care Team (IMPACT), ChristianaCare's perinatal palliative care team since 2012. She is also the medical director of the neonatal transport team, and she serves as the Chair of the credentialing committee of the Department of Pediatrics.
Dr. Sturtz earned her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University (formerly Jefferson Medical College) and completed a pediatric residency at Thomas Jefferson University/AI duPont Hospital for Children, followed by a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University/Christiana Care Health System. She lives in Media Pa with husband Bill, 2 crazy curly haired sons, and chocolate lab Mila.
