Online - 2023 Pediatric Pharmacology Update: Utilizing the Biopsychosocial Model in Conjunction with Pharmacotherapy to Improve Function in Youth with Chronic Pain
Drs. Soprano & Salamon explain strategies to utilize both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment strategies to help youth and their families manage chronic pain. Catherine Soprano, MD is an attending physician in the Diagnostic Referral Division at Nemours Children's Hospital, DE. She also co-founded the Pain & Wellness Program there and is now the Medical Director. Katherine Salamon, PhD is currently services as the Program Director of the Integrated Pain & Wellness Program. She is a licensed psychologist and an expert in pediatric pain management. This lecture was recorded at the 2023 Pediatric Pharmacology Update on October 6, 2023.
