Program Aims:
- To develop a cohort of health care professionals with training in quality improvement
- To sponsor QI champions led projects at the unit level to advance the Mission Zero Initiative
- To promote interprofessional teamwork in quality improvement
- Graduates will disseminate learnings and lead future quality improvement activities

Target Audience
Interprofessional (clinical and nonclinical) associates across Nemours enterprise interested in learning QI methodology
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
- Describe how to lead an improvement project through four key phases.
- Apply strategies to assess and overcome resistance to change.
- Apply strategies to work effectively with interprofessional colleagues on an improvement team.
- Explain how individual behavior and team dynamics in health care can make care safer or less safe.
- Use structured communication techniques to improve communication within health care.
- Specify possible interventions to improve patient safety and reduce risk during times of transition.

- 1.50 MOC ABIM – Internal MedicineSuccessful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.50 MOC points and patient safety MOC credit in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
