Jeff Vergales, MD, MS, MBA, is Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at Boston Children’s Health Physicians and Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and a Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College. He is a pediatric cardiologist with expertise in noninvasive imaging, fetal cardiology, quality improvement, and clinical innovation. Throughout his career, Dr. Vergales has held numerous leadership roles focused on improving clinical outcomes, advancing digital health, and developing innovative models of care for children with congenital heart disease. He is actively involved in national pediatric cardiology organizations and multicenter quality-improvement and research initiatives, with a particular emphasis on collaborative outcomes research and remote patient monitoring. Dr. Vergales is also deeply committed to medical education and mentorship and has worked extensively with students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty throughout his academic career.
