Dr. Tegtmeyer is a Pediatric intensive care physician and professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics. He has been in clinical practice for nearly 30 years and been a leader in Pediatric Critical Care, and past Chair of the section of Pediatrics for the Society of Critical Care Medicine. He has been involved in telemedicine for nearly 20 years, starting while working at Doernbecher Children's in Oregon, then continuing at CCHMC. He was involved in developing a telehealth code and rapid response system at a satellite facility that CCHMC opened, and in January of 2020 became the first Medical Director of the Center for Telehealth at CCHMC. He is active in the AAP SOTC and is currently the Chair Elect of the Section on Telehealth Care.
